The Prayer House Community is a diverse group of women and men from a broad ecumenical spectrum. Among us are United Methodists, Lutherans, Mennonites, Roman Catholics, and members of the United Church of Christ. We live in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New Mexico.

We were drawn together in 1990 by our hunger for solitary prayer. Since then we have been led to develop and maintain The Prayer House as a hermitage to share will all who desire to be alone with God.
